LITERARY LEADERS

The theme of this project was to identity and how we see ourselves. Using spoken word and collaborative story writing this offers a different, more creative approach to raising confidence, self-expression. All the while, developing oral communication and literacy skills. The intention is to develop the voices and emotional literacy, build self-esteem, increase academic and career motivation, all the while developing a sense of community and belonging. Using a variety of resources and pedagogical strategies, reading and literacy will be incorporated in ways that reach far beyond the objectives for English and Drama but also teambuilding and public speaking.
